Denise Liotta DeMarzo is a lifelong New Yorker who recently moved to Hilton Head Island, SC. After careers as a nurse and a lawyer, she pursued drawing and painting, with a focus on representational still life oil painting. Denise paints from life, not photographs.
She continues to study with Jon de Martin, a NY-based classically trained artist and renowned teacher as well as Todd M. Casey, a well-known author and still life painter. Her latest work includes a series of cocktail paintings.
Denise’s work was recently featured at the Biennale National Juried Exhibition on HHI, and may be seen at the Savannah Gallery of Art, SOBA Gallery in Bluffton, the Art League of Hilton Head and the Artists of Sea Pines monthly art show.
